Have been working with Paul for over two years and he has been our go to guy. My wife and I have two businesses and Paul set up the web sites for both of them. We just gave him some thoughts about what we were looking for and he did all the design work. We have made changes and updated the information and the process has always been seemless. If a problem arises he finds a way to solve it. I highly recommend Paul.

My cyber-challenge was trying to come up with a website that would satisfy my students and the dean of the department. I’ve been teaching English now for 27 years at the College of San Mateo which puts me just in front of the virtual generation. So when my last evaluation suggested that I take advantage of the college’s website to update my courses with some interactive web-exercises, I signed up for a seminar on the hill to get some idea about how to do that. Well, half way through the day I could tell that the school’s idea of “interacting” was not mine. I wanted something that was not merely the nuts and bolts kind of site they were proposing; I wanted, as they say, all the “bells and whistles”. So I found Paul Giomi’s name listed at the adult school where he was teaching computer courses and confronted him with my challenge. We talked energetically for about a half-hour as I tried to describe what I was looking for; I wanted something that suited my personality, that would have students see me not just as a member of an institution, but as someone with a personality of my own. That was all the time it took. Within minutes Paul was sketching ideas out on paper, providing me with three or four proposals that might work. Naturally, the last suggestion was the one I went with. Just as he was beginning to give me another option, I stopped him and yelled “Eureka!” Here’s what he proposed: A professor’s den of my own—with a working fireplace and a library of options backed by some mystery music which plays as the students enter. Perfect! I could go on telling you about how happy I was with the outcome, but what I should do is get my students to write because I don’t just hear about my site from my students; I also hear from some students who have visited it that are not even in my class who heard abuot my cool website. Clearly, I am more than satisfied and recommend Paul as an imaginative, creative, and resourceful web-designer who will not only excite you about your project but will charm you as well.

Internet West did a spectacular job on two of my websites: BellaCartolina.com and ForgetNotMe.com The websites were done quickly and I started receiving orders right away!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Continuous self-study of updated codes and design techniques.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

In 1995 I founded AIM Internet Marketing and Internet West my own web-site design shop. I was also the Internet Systems Manager, on a contract basis, for the Noble Group, a computer consulting firm in Foster City, Ca. I maintained and managed their web-sites www.noblegroup.com and www.experts.com and designed over fifty web-sites for their clients. During that time I was a part-time instructor for Senior Surfers of Mountain View, CA, teaching adult’s computer PC applications and was also on the staff at San Francisco State University College of Extended Learning Information Technology Program, as a part time instructor.
