I plan family menus, shop farmers markets, and the best grocery stores. I prepare and package your meals in your own kitchen. Simple heating and serving instructions allow you to enjoy your meals whenever you want them, in the comfort of your home.

I specialize in seasonal cuisine, using fresh local ingredients.

I cook for busy professionals, people on special diets, new parents, or anyone who would like to enjoy quality food and save time and stress of daily dinner planning.

Small dinner parties, gift certificates and cooking classes are also available.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Bi-weekly meal service for busy working families.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. While I am trained in safe food handling and make sure that the food is prepared, labeled, and stored correctly, after I leave the kitchen, maintaining food safety is up to the client. Please check the food handling page in your menu binder.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am proud of providing only the freshest seasonal ingredients for my clients. I try to schedule my service on the day of the week when there is a farmers market nearby. If needed, I would travel to two or three grocery stores in the morning of the cook date to source the best groceries. No cutting corners here!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Everything. Even washing the dishes and clean-up.

I love going to farmers markets to check out what new produce appeared this week. I love the colors, textures, and, of course, flavors of the fresh fruits and vegetables. Then come the magic of transforming raw ingredients into a completed meal. Seeing the week or two worth of meals neatly stacked in the fridge, waiting for people to enjoy them. And I absolutely love it when a client sends me a message from their iPhone about how they liked my food!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Customers always ask about the price of the service. Common perseption is that it's a luxury service that few can afford. While I do charge for a whole day of work, I produce a large amount of quality food that would last my clients from a week up to a month, so in the end the client actually saves money by hiring me.
