Tim does a great job. Doesn't overcharge. He's friendly, super smart, and doesn't make you feel stupid. He shows up on time and doesn't leave until he's fixed the problem. Not only does he know what he's doing, he's also funny. He returns phone calls and emails promptly. He's seriously professional (still funny) and I give him the highest recommendation. He works on our small office network, and gives me advice via email on my own home network. He's ethical. That's nice.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is based more on a "by-the-job" basis than on an hourly basis. Discounts for seniors, non-profits and others, also "bulk hour" and retainer/maintenance contract deals. Higher rates for complex networks and businesses, lower rates for tutoring and home users. Hourly rates can be very misleading as many shops charge a one or two hour minimum anyway. By the job pricing makes more sense generally!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Constantly updating with the technology.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Software and hardware reconfiguration, new computer and server setups, backup setups, maintenance, wireless and router configuration, virus/spyware removal and prevention, training/teaching/tutoring.
