Greetings! I'm a CMT with more than four years in practice, a California state certification, and a Letter of Honors from National Holistic Institute.

What my clients love about my work is my specificity. I enjoy working with areas of chronic tension and helping them to a deep release. This slow, deep, lotionless work, and a combination of deep tissue, myofascial therapies and trigger points, is unusual, but my clients are very appreciative for the relief it brings. I have a reputation as a go-to MT for necks and frequently work with clients who do a lot of office work, as well as commuters, athletes and caregivers.

Other areas of special interest include the shoulders, back, jaw, wrists and hips. Nor is the above my only style; I'm also skilled with Swedish, prenatal, Shiatsu, Thai, joint mobilization, rocking and shaking, and energy work.

Drop me a line and we'll see how I can be of help. My consultations and assessments are free of charge.

Dillon is great. He came to my office for an hour-long massage and was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend. Thanks!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I frequently work with the chronic tension in the neck and shoulders of people who do a lot of computer work, and related issues of the wrists and forearms. Following that is the back, especially the lumbar.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Try to have a clear dialogue. If you have expectations from a massage, express them, but also be aware that all of us work differently, and no two massages will be exactly alike. So talk about what you need and give relevant information on your medical history, but also be prepared to LET GO, because one of massage therapy's primary purposes is relaxation.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I hear all the time from new clients that they've never received massage as slowly as I work in a therapeutic session. I use the knowledge I gain from assessing your posture and range of motion, palpating, and talking about what you do and what goes on with your body to make each session specific to what needs released on a given day. My sliding scale pricing also makes it affordable to get massage if you normally couldn't, or things are tight (financially as well as muscularly in this case) at the moment. No membership wellness program, but if you want to prepay and hire me for a series, I'm happy to oblige, and it's a great way to work.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Seeing and hearing how my clients are doing better after a session. If someone comes in limping, and walks out smoothly again, can breathe deeper and open their shoulders, hold their heads upright, if the numbness down the arms or legs is gone... I love to help my clients be more well than they knew was possible.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. It's often about issues and conditions that they're going through, and if I'm familiar with it and experienced in helping. I collect knowledge like lint, research things I'm not familiar with, and am always looking to improve in what I do.
