Ferris Homes, a division of Ferris Financial Group, Inc., began our manufactured home business over 18 years ago by purchasing older mobile homes and exchanging these with new manufactured homes in all age and senior communities in Northern California and continues to do so today. We do not perform remodels or home repairs, we only build new manufactured, pre-fab, solar, Net-Zero, green NEW homes in park communities, on vacant land and as secondary dwellings such as back hard cottages on property where a home already exists.
We commenced our environmentally green and Energy Star energy efficient homes product line in 2008. We now represent Hallmark-Southwest, Skyline, Karsten, Champion and Silvercrest quality manufactured homes and more.
Our new factory built homes have been planned to provide energy efficiency from design to construction, conserving natural resources and creating a healthy environment. We can construct very fundamental homes as well as the most luxurious ones.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We work with our clients to design the manufactured home that meets their requirements, most luxurious, very basic, special needs and backyard cottages for children or parents that return home for care.
We meet to understand requirements for the new home, we customize a standard floor plan that comes close to what the client wants, such as window placement, skylights, placement for special pieces of furniture, wiring for an office area and more.
With the economy the way it is today, we look at ways to make sure the manufactured home is energy efficient, keeping the buyers day to day costs of the home down.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Ferris Homes has been building manufactured homes, factory homes and pre-fab homes for almost 20 years. Our customers are our best salespeople.
With our experience, we have the ability to build a new manufactured home in a park community, on vacant land or as a secondary dwelling such as an office, studio, backyard cottage or casita.
