The beautiful girl you see on Phi's thumbtack is my cousin. Phi did an amazing job making my wedding party look like they came straight out of a photo shoot for a magazine. Every bridesmaid looked so beautiful! Their hair and makeup was flawless.
As I was planning for my wedding, I took everyone's advice and booked a salon professional to do my hair. Everyone told me since I was the bride, I should spend the money and make sure I had a "professional" do my hair. I went ahead and booked my regular hair stylist. Since she did such a great job cutting my hair for the last two years, I figured she'd do an amazing job with my hair for my wedding. She was so pricey I didn't book a pre run since she was going to charge me full price for her time. Since we had a good client and stylist relationship I went ahead and trusted she would be able to give me what I wanted. Little did I know styling and cutting are two completely different things. She did an okay job with my hair but I have to admit, for the amount I paid, I wasn't completely satisfied. I could tell as she was styling my hair she didn't really know how to pin the curls and it didn't look anything like the picture I brought in.
While I was getting my hair done, Phi was busy working on my girls at my sister's house. I didn't get to see their beautiful faces until later on that morning. When I saw them for the first time, I couldn't believe how amazing they looked. Each brides maid had her hair done and make up in a way that complimented their personalities and style. My maid on honor was done up a bit more elaborate than my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids generally did not wear a lot of make up so their make up was very natural and stunning at the same time. To add some commonalities to each bridesmaid, Phi added a floral piece to everyone's hair. Everyone was able to sport a different look but had a similar flower that tied them together. I loved it all!
Phi and I are still very close and I've told her numerously, the one regret I have was not hiring her to be my stylist. She did such an amazing job and I love looking at her work on all her new clients. She's so easy to work with and delivers great work and service! Since my wedding she has grown as an artist and I am so grateful to have had an opportunity for her to be a part of my special day!
