Calla has helped me with a couple of pieces of jewelry for my girlfriend. Being a guy who doesn't know much about jewelry (except that my girlfriend likes it!), she is a pleasure to deal with. She's extremely professional, has a great aesthetic eye, and makes the process easy. In my opinion she is definitely the best personal jeweler in the Santa Barbara area. Ask to see the wax model of your design so you know you've been understood. If you need jewelry repaired ask for examples of their work, like before and after pictures. Check online for reviews that specifically cite their skills at repair work. Not all "Jewelers" can handle this work. Some mail it to a central repair warehouse. Work with someone who cares about your project and can advise you in depth about your piece and what would be done.
