We hired Vanessa to shoot our wedding, and for some engagement photos as well. We'd had some frustrating experiences with photographers before, so we approached finding a wedding photographer with a great deal of caution. Vanessa was excellent from the first time that we spoke with her until the very end when she delivered all of our photos. She took the time to answer all of our questions, make sure that we were comfortable, and clearly understood what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding itself, she did an excellent job of capturing lots of great candid moments where we didn't even realize that someone was watching. These turned out to be some of our favorite photos. We had the usual friends and family that got in the way a bit as Vanessa was trying to take portraits, but she did a great job of politely working around them and making sure that everyone was looking in the right direction when they needed to be. The price was fair, the work was excellent, and Vanessa was extremely easy to work with. We'd recommend her to anyone.

Vanessa did my engagement photos and I had the most wonderful time with her!!!! She went to so many different locations for us because we had two different visions for the engagement photo session... She was flexible and made us feel relaxed! She made us laugh too! Some of my favorite photos are ones of us laughing! Brought real life into our photos and captured the abundant joy me and my fiancée are experiencing and now we have those memories forever!!! I am so thankful and highly recommend her to anyone!! She's awesome I cannot praise her enough!!

I shoot weddings and engagements primarily on the West Coast- although I am willing to travel to many locations! I also shoot portraits, interiors, and food photography.

The best advice I can give to customers looking to hire a photographer is to make sure you voice your opinion about what style you like or perhaps some specific shots you have in mind. I think this is the best way to ensure all of your expectations are met, and you have an end product that you love.
