My name is DJ Surge, "The Sound Surgeon" and I have been a DJ in the Bay Area for more than twenty years and I have experience in many different areas of this field. I do weddings and receptions, corporate events, banquets, private parties, school events, high school prom, parties and clubs.
I do music from 60's, 70's, old school, R&B, hip-hop, country western, classic rock, rock n roll, big band and swing, today's new music and Top 40's, variety, jazz and blues. I also do music video mixes on 2 video monitors that's part of my show and normal set-up. I have done more than 75 Weddings/Receptions since I have been DJ'ing.
My system consists of a Numark CDN 450 Dual CD player and a 4 channel mixer and pre-amp, 2 15-in PAS-Professional Audio Systems main speakers, 2 Yamaha 18-in Sub-Woofers, more than 17 plus FX Lights spread across 3 racks with 2 ADJ Light Co-Pilots for control, as well as 2 Seymour Duncan Mid-Bass Speakers, also 2 DVD Players and 2 video monitors for my music video mixes, also a mirror ball and strobe and spot lights, and a I also use two laptop computers and a Yamaha Dual 2 x 400 watt mixer amplifier to power everything.
