I am a P.O.S.T. (Police Officer Standards and Training)-certified K9 team instructor, evaluator and decoy. I am also a decoy, helper, and trainer in the German protection dog sport of Schutzhund. I train dogs for personal, family and executive protection. The most critical job I have as a police k9, sport and personal protection dog trainer is matching the dogs to the handler and adapting the training to there needs. I believe protection dogs should be worked in a calm, controlled and motivational manner. I use real-life scenarios that I have learned thru years of police K9 work to help you feel more prepared should that moment arise. A personal protection dog is the only defensive weapon that can not be used against you .
