FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an accomplished artist my entire life. I won multiple art awards in high school and continued my art education at Rhode Island School of Design, Art Institute and MassArt in Boston. I continue to grow, learn and hone my body art skills by attending conferences across the United States. They have included: Spring Fling Henna Conference, Patterson, CA Henna Gathering, Cape Cod, MA Face & Body Art Convention with SillyFarm, Fort Lauderdale, FL I also teach Henna Workshops in the Bay Area,
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do many types of events on the weekends. You will meet me painting kids faces at a family birthday party, or company picnic, or you will find me hennaing a pregnant belly at a baby shower, adorning hands at weddings, bar mitzvah or other special event. I also book many private henna appointments during the week!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
All-Natural Henna is safe and will stain your skin a red/brown color. Henna is NEVER Black! Always make sure that whichever henna artist you are working with, that they are always using fresh, all-natural henna powder and natural ingredients in their henna paste. Unfortunately there are artists local in the Bay Area that use Black Henna, which contains harmful chemicals that can cause permanent scarring.
