Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Our best advice is to actually meet with various types of designers face to face. As many designers or architectural firms are certainly professional and qualified, they may not be the best personality match for you. The design trade in general has a linear process, yet every designer is unique. Ask yourself what kind of experience do you want to have while working on this project together. Do you want more of a strong and 'bottom line' oriented experience or more of a fun and fluid process?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. We explain how our services and processes can help complete your vision and expectations. The number one thing a client should know is that in the world of art, design, and architecture; there is never just one way to create or build anything. There are many of variables and skilled people involved to consider such as manufacturers, tradesmen, architects, engineers, and city officials in bringing to life a design. Every project is new to us and each client and space has unique givens and constraints. We draw on our years of experience and strong trade relationships to resolve situations quickly and smoothly. The best inside secret to share is the answer to all relationships in life, communication. We work hard to constantly be in communication with our clients so that we are always on the same page about what is happening with their project. We always welcome our clients' ideas and concerns. No question is too simple and we encourage our cllients to ask as many questions as they want.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. We feel the best question to ask your potential designer or design team is what their process is. Some designers may have a more rigid and involved process which is excellent for more complex projects, but can be overwhelming for some clients who are just looking for some minor help. That is why we have developed our Rework Design Packages, which is a more lighthearted and streamlined design process, which makes it affordable for many clients who never thought they could get help from a designer.
