“Karen helped me transform my "half empty" thinking to "completely full" consciousness. We stumbled upon a forward-making mantra: Follow the giggle! How can you not go in the right direction when you do more things that make you giggle? As I was going through a job transition, Karen helped me see more clearly the possibilities by asking What If? What if I loved going to work every day? What if I made new friends? What if I respect the people I work with? What if the opportunity is better than I expect? With her help, I experienced heightened energy and nailed three interviews in 10 days resulting in a job opportunity where there are possibilities. Karen is a gentle guide who really listens, hears your needs, and helps you gain clarity of direction quickly.”

A. Interview a few different therapists and go with the one you resonate with and connect with most. Get a referral from friends or family who have worked with a therapist and have received good results.
A. Sometimes the process of healing can be uncomfortable at first and take time. So, be patient with the process. After the first few sessions, you may even feel worse temporarily. Over time, your life will improve and you will be able to move forward with more energy and joy.
A. In my opinion, it is more about the fit than any credentials or specific experience. So, I would ask questions about the therapists approach and their philosophy about healing. Notice how you feel when you speak to him/her. Do you feel honored, listened to and safe? This is crucial for the healing environment.
A. They should consider what it is they truly desire in their lives. I like my potential clients to spend time writing about what it is they really want and then I can talk to them in a free consultation about how I may be able to help them.
A. My work as a grief counselor stands out because of my personal life experience and wisdom related to grief and loss. Further, I use a variety of empowering techniques to draw on my clients own inner wisdom. I combine guided visualization and body-centered approaches with traditional therapy techniques.
A. I love seeing my clients transform their lives and being a part of their journey of healing and self discovery! It is extremely fulfilling to be trusted with my clients emotional pain. I am so honored to be doing this work!
A. My greatest strength is my capacity to create a healing space of love and trust when working with a client. My clients feel comfortable and safe with me as I am without judgement. I also have a tremendous amount of wisdom from my life experiences to share.
