in that order.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Use a PROFESSIONAL. Even non-tinted glass can be permanently scratched by bad-techniques and equipment.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Do not ever use the back of a kitchen sponge (the green scrubber part) on a window, it will permanently scratch it.
also,
Instead of Windex, try any of the 'foaming' window cleaners, they are all the same as long as they are in a can that looks like a spray paint can. Use it with an old t-shirt or lint-free towel.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. 1. Whether you have 'true-divided-light' windows (small individual panes like french doors have)

2. Whether or not you have a black-mold infestation. 3. Rough square footage or exact window count.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Guaranteed Lowest Rates Since 1999 but still also the Highest Quality.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What solution do you use for cleaning windows? A: Squeegee soap, however, about 1/4 cup dish soap in a bucket of water works well for squeegee cleaning as well.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. When doing the Tannery Artspace living center in Santa Cruz this year. I received three texts while working from friends saying 'Is that you cleaning my windows right now'?

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We usually can't see you inside, you can see me, but when its darker inside than out, then we can't see you :)

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. While building Four-Seasons Sunrooms in the '90's, I was forced to learn window cleaning and found that I was a natural.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Tannery Artspace Living Center. This is a non-profit artists living space of 96 units. Artists who live there get affordable rent and also get promotion.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I am constantly learning new things. I recently learned stage 1 hard water removal. Next up is graffiti and scratch removal.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Don't do it. Go for something that you can retire on!
