- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When starting a new project with a client, it's essential to gather as much information as possible to ensure a clear understanding of their needs, goals, and expectations. Here are some questions we might upon onboarding: What is the primary goal or objective of this project? Can you provide a brief overview of your organization or business to give me context? What specific problem or challenge are you trying to solve with this project? Who is your target audience or customer for this project? What is your project's timeline or deadline? Do you have any specific budget constraints for this project? Have you worked on a similar project in the past, and if so, what were the outcomes? Are there any existing assets or materials that should be integrated into this project (e.g., branding guidelines, content, data)? Do you have any preferences or expectations regarding the project's style, tone, or design? Who are the key stakeholders or decision-makers for this project, and how should communication be handled with them? What is your desired outcome or measure of success for this project (e.g., increased sales, brand awareness, user engagement)? Are there any specific competitors or benchmarks we should be aware of? What are the project's must-have features or elements? Are there any constraints or limitations we should be aware of (e.g., legal, technical, or resource constraints)? What tools or technologies are you currently using, and do you have any preferences for the tools or platforms to be used in this project? What is your preferred communication method and frequency for project updates? Are there any specific branding or visual identity guidelines we should follow? Do you have any concerns or risks you anticipate for this project? Have you identified any specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that you would like to track? Is there anything else you'd like to share about your vision or expectations for this project? These questions help establish a clear project scope, align expectations, and set the foundation for a successful collaboration. Depending on the nature of the project, we may need to adapt and add more specific questions to address its unique requirements.
