Premium Skincare by Diana Extends Spa Treatments to Those with Cancer

Through Clinical Oncology Esthetics® (COE), Diana Ralys underwent extensive training in understanding how cancer and therapy treatments affect the body at the dermal and lymphatic level. The program explored the side effects of cancer therapies, how those are further compounded by various medications and the importance of proper sanitation to support weakened immune systems.

Diana Ralys learned how to perform gentle, yet effective protocols using compatible skin care ingredients and massage techniques.

Diana Ralys is the best kept secret in town for premium luxurious facials. I only trust my skin to Diana's organic ingredients and advanced techniques. I visit Premium Skin Care knowing that my skin will be happier and healthier after her services than when I arrived. Plus, with her organic microdermabrasion, LED light therapy and micro-current face lifts for advanced anti-aging benefits, I'm sold.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always check how mach time the person is investing in education. Especialy extended and continues education. Our world is changing fast. Some products or aesthetic equipment were the hit couple years ago, now could be history. People who are seaking for instant fix from medical spas and salons should be especially careful to check how much training the technician received if they are holding proper certifications, as well as safety of the product and procedure. It is amazing how much information can be found online these days, do your own research, read other people reviews. Once fould the place you interested in, ask for a consultation.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew the truth about oils used in skin care product. I was tought that skin care product should be oil free, otherwise your skin will brake-out, especially if its oily. In fact oils like Jojoba, Argan, Rosehip or Emu, can help the skin tremendously. Oils can regulate the natural skin sebum production, be anti-aging and help to manage acne. Lack of essential fatty acids can create problems, lead to premature aging, including hyperpigmentation.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We examine skin before every skin treatment, so proper products and equipment could be chosen. It is imprtant to do it every time, since our skin changes do to life style, lack of vitamins, medication, weather, change of skin care products, stress, internal health and other. We use only natural skin care products, microfiber towels and latest non invasive technilogy to achieve wanted results. We are not trying just to sell servises and products, we educate our clients what professional and home care program would be best for them. We listen to clients needs, we work together as a team, so everyone is comfortable.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I absulutely love everything about my business. The oportunity to make a difference, to help my clients with their skin needs, to educate them about the skin's function and to choose the right skin care.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How to keep my skin clear, blackhead free?
I recommend using non-comedogenic product and use mask at least 1x a week. Also, it is important to understand, that our skin is a live organ with natural functions to absorb moist and excreat toxins, it produses sebum. Our natural oil sebum mixes with matured skin cells and clogs the pores, it sits on the skin's surface until we remove it, exfoliate. To submarize, it is normal to have dull looking skin and have blackheads, we just need to take proper and continues care.
Why my forehead is braking out and looks bumpy?
Check inredients on your shampoo and hair conditioner, may contain some plastics {that supost to make your hair shiny}.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. My own skin problems, skin's sensitivity especially. Interest in aesthetics began as a teenager when I first encountered skin issues. My interest developed into a lifelong passion that led me to where I am today. Prior to founding Premium Skin Care by Diana, I spent five years working as the Global Lead Aesthetician for celebrity-adored organic skin care company Jurlique. I am always reading, recearching to have my own opinion about old and time tested and newest on the market. I wanted to create an optimum alternative to achieve outstanding results without damaging and abusing the skin. I combined the best natural product and highest quality equipment.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I worked for Organic skin care line Jurlique before I opened my skin salon. I had a wonderful oportunity to manage two of their locations, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, was lead global esthetician.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. I recently took a class at the International Dermal Institute about Sensitive Skin and Inflamation. It was amazing learning about what happens within the skin, behind what we see. I am creating a premium skin care line that will be both, natural and powerfull. Our premium skin care line will include products for skin with compromized immune system, cancer pacients undergoing chemotherapy or/and radiation therapies, acneic skin, aging skin, hyperpigmented skin and extreme sensitive. We are continuing on emproving our services for you! Please let us know if there is anything else you need from us to make your experience better?

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Continue your education, do not stop by only getting a state required licence. Attend annual aesthetics conventions, read skin care magazines, do your own research on line, compare and have your own opinion. Esthetics field is deep and changing all the time, stay on top, your clients will appreciate your knowledge!
