FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system isn't complicated it is quite simple although different things may be a factor in the amount of work I do such as if you want me to open up a computer I will charge $20 an hour for every hour that I am inside the shell of your computer, also if I am opening a computer I will not open it if it is still under warranty because that is an automatic void of a warranty, I don't want to be responsible for voiding any ones warranty.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently enrolled to take a few classes at the Santa Rosa Junior College to get a Certificate in Linux Systems Administration so the I can be up to date on Linux Operating Systems and how to better work with Linux. I will always be updating my knowledge base either by formal trainings or by teaching myself how to work with the constant changes in the technology world.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into my line of work because I know that people always need their computers to be repaired and they always need to have a way to do so, but I am also aware that computer repair is not cheap so I decided to get into the I.T. field as an affordable computer repair technician as a way to do things I am passionate about and to help people get their I.T. needs met in a manor that they can afford.
