Hired on Thumbtack

We contacted Comfort Zone on last minute notice (Tuesday) because our normal dog sitter backed out on us and we were set to fly out on Thursday. I spoke to Dan and he was able to come meet our two small (neurotic) jack russels the next morning. He made me feel very comfortable with leaving my dogs with him and to watch/care for our home. Our dogs are the anxious type and don't do well with strangers, so we don't like to ever leave them, but they warmed right up to Dan! When we got home 3 days later from our trip, our babies were HAPPY! I could tell they received lots of love and playtime. Dan also left us a "report card" for each dog letting us know how they did, what they did while we were gone etc. We LOVED that. We will use Dan and his company whenever we leave town.

Dan was a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting, he was pleasant, organized and thorough. We came back from a week away to a clean house, a happy cat, and the little items had all be done to our specifications. We can highly recommend his services and will use him again.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research. Learn what questions to ask when the time comes. If a provider is taking an average of a half hour to go over forms and policies, that's a good thing.
