Our Guided Shopping day is beneficial for those who need just a few new furnishings, basic draperies, lamps, textiles, and accessories. We take you to 4 of our favorite local retail shops to guide you first hand on the new pieces you need to complete your space. Our favored retail stores are Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Cost Plus, Ballard Design, Z Gallerie, & Pier One, among others, because of their quality, value, and delivery time frame; typically 2-6 weeks. We have designer accounts with many of these stores and can manage your orders and deliveries for you, often being able to save you a few bucks. Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We often design interiors for one or two rooms at a time.
Our Designer Guided Shopping Day and Arrangement Day Services are the most often requested service.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Our best advice is to actually meet with various types of designers face to face. As many designers or architectural firms are certainly professional and qualified, they may not be the best personality match for you. The design trade in general has a linear process, yet every designer is unique. Ask yourself what kind of experience do you want to have while working on this project together. Do you want more of a strong and 'bottom line' oriented experience or more of a fun and fluid process?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The hardest thing to communicate to our clients or about our trade in general is that it is impossible to put an hourly time limit to the initial creative thought process for our conceptual designs. We live, eat, breath, design. We are always thinking about design and our projects constantly, while in the kitchen making toast to flipping through a magazine. Your project may be on our minds 24 hours a day as we entertain new ideas that could work best for you.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Knowing your actual budget for services, labor, and products is key. We have experienced many clients not telling us their actual budget in fear of potentially being taken advantage of. We find this to be very challenging and in turn taking more time and revisions for us to delivery the correct product suggestions to you.

Our proposal for our design services is always presented to you prior to us beginning any work, therefore, our service prices do not change for your project. Knowing the quality level of products you expect is very important as it steers the entire conceptual process and many hours of specifying products.

We can design beautiful projects in any budget, it just depends on what you expect. Do you want heirloom or economical furnishings?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have developed a strong and honed process from getting to know who our clients are to translating their visions into a tangible environment. We also strive to make the whole experience fun and rewarding!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We enjoy the entire process from getting to know our clients, their needs, desires, constraints, the space and function, and bringing to life our creative vision to tangible environments.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How do you work?

We approach every project large or small with a fresh enthusiasm. We have a tried and true efficient process that takes us through concept to finishing touches, yet are always flexible to our clients specific needs.

Every new project is a new adventure!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We are a partnership of 3, but all of our determining moments of becoming Interior Designers were similar.

We love the process of creativity and strategic planning. We love the challenges and constrictions which actually enable us to be more creative. Ultimately, we love helping create an environment that changes the day to day life of the people who inhabit them.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Absolutely! We are continuously obtaining new professional learning credits to remain Certified Interior Designers. We attend many seminars related to new products and building solutions. We specifically have an interest Green building solutions as we are LEED Accredited Professionals.

We also, frequent all the furniture showrooms from the San Francisco Design Center to our local consignment shops to keep our ideas fresh and inspired.
