I have my master's degree in holistic nutrition and offer nutritional consultations and coaching. In 2001 I founded the nation's first certified organic cooking school, the Patty James Cooking School and Nutrition Center, closing it in 2008 to found the non-profit, Shine The Light On Kids. Cooking classes for adults and children are available. My book, More Vegetables, Please! was co-authored with Dr. Elson Haas.
