Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions like how often will we meet, how long are your sessions, what type of techniques do you use? How many sessions does it take to feel results? Will marriage counseling save my marriage?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. What is the difference between a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a psychotherapist and a counselor?
A psychiatrist is an MD and can prescribe medication, a psychologist has a Doctorate degree in psychology and is licensed to practice psychology, a psychotherapist is usually a licenses marriage and family therapist or licensed clinical social worker with a Masters level of education in psychology.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have advanced training in addiction treatment, trauma work, anger management and marriage counseling. I use RLT, Relational Life Therapy as the basis of my marriage counseling.
