If you want the best roofing contractor, hire Horizon Roofing. Being an engineer, I interviewed every roofer in the area, plus the tile manufacturer. In addition I read every technical specification I could find. Larry, the president, surprised me with the level of detail he went into and this also showed in his very competitive quote.

He and his crew cover every small detail on planning and executing the project. In our case, it was a complete re-tile job, which included structural work to bring rafter into plane, rafter tails square, much new decking, gutters, gutter covers, and siding dry rot repair where previous gutter leaked.

The house was improperly framed owner-builder mess with sagging rafters and rafter tails that didn't line up. . Larry was incredibly creative in how he approached these issues and designed solutions which are tight and professional. I was there for the entire job, and as an engineer, I can tell you it was all done correctly by his friendly and skilled crew, and meets the current codes.

I have total confidence in the system Horizon put in place and even had them work on my vacation house roof on Donner Summit. They were so helpful they even offered to move some couches for me while they were there. It is a pleasure to find people who show up when they say they will, take pride in their work, and make the process comfortable for the homeowner. I give my unequivocal recommendation of Horizon Roofing.

Horizon Roofing did a great job for us. Pricing was great for the 5K sq. ft roof, the workmanship terrific, adherence to schedule was as advertised, and clean up well done. We would recommend Larry Coleman and Horizon Roofing to anyone that needs high quality roofing.

When our 29 year old house needed a re-roof, I took the time to meet with four companies, get three proposals, and listen to each sales presentation. To help me evaluate proposals I studied materials from roofing material suppliers and "do it yourself" books. We had a limited budget so I wanted a good roof but did not want an over design.

My choice was to work with Horizon Roofing. I was more than pleased with the work they did. In fact they exceeded expectations because the company president paid careful attention to each detail. The quality is in the details and Larry ensured that his crew was careful with the placement of all the materials, vents, the nailing pattern--every detail. We also had them do a patio roof and support structure and they handled this "stretch assignment" very well. Billing was as quoted and well documented. I strongly recommend Horizon Roofing.

A. It's satisfying to work with clients who have experienced less than what the industry standards should be. To complete their work and instill in them the trust that honest hard working people and companies still exist. There's never a job that we perform that when it's done, as we leave, were looking back appreciating what we created.

(manufactures should be well established w/ a good history regarding warranty and financial backing - color and style depends on the arctitecture, is it Contemporary, Modern, Country, New Eagland, Custom or Ranch? Will the color date the house inthe near future, what wroks well with the existing exterior colors and what future exterior colors options will there be? Our goal is to add value to the architectural look that will last the lifetime of the roof, as well as perform the basic duties as the waterproof roof covering the owner deserves.
