Alan is a Hollywood makeup artist, currently Northern California Wine Country's preeminent wedding and event make-up artist, utilizing his award-winning makeup techniques for weddings, special events, personal consultations, and private instruction.   From Marin to Healdsburg, from San Francisco to Sacramento—over the past 10 years, Alan has created wedding makeup illusions for hundreds of brides, adding his special touch of glamour to weddings all over California, the East Coast, Hawaii, and even as far away as Japan, creating cosmetic memories with all ethnic groups of all ages.    Alan is a multiple award-winning makeup artist—he is the recipient of an EMMY Award, two EMMY Award nominations, a CLIO Award for outstanding achievement in makeup for a commercial, and a Cable Ace Award nomination. Alan teaches at Santa Rosa Junior College and is a member of the faculty at Sonoma State University Cinema/Theater Arts Department. Alan also instructs patients in post-surgical cosmetic applications and the American Cancer Society's “Look Good... Feel Better” program and has recently joined the “Wish Upon a Wedding” team of preferred vendors, granting dream weddings to those with terminal illnesses.
