I have been doing weddings for a couple of years. I attended a bridal makeup academy which has given me all the knowledge I know on top of the experience I gained working with all types of brides.

My application is a clean and classic look. The makeup I use and honestly works great for brides is MAC. I have found the foundation to work with all skin types. It is water-resistant and last 15 hours. I do set all foundations with 2 primers, so your pictures will be flawless. I do offer a variety of makeup options: Powder foundation, liquid foundation, and airbrush.

All makeup applications do include individual lashes; they do have more of that natural look to them and make your eyes pop. If you prefer strip lashes, I do recommend you purchase the ones you like and feel comfortable with and I will apply them at no extra cost. My goal as a professional is to create your dream look; a look to match your personality.

  When I first met Jocelyn, I was late to my wedding hair/makeup trial. In fact, I was sweaty and tired. There was construction and a temporary lack of parking in my neighborhood. I didn't want to be late, so I ran to the salon from my car. On top of that, I normally don't wear much of makeup.
  
  An hour later, I was looking at a model in a mirror (yes, that would be me, with LOTS of help from Jocelyn). We spent a lot of time figuring out what I wanted. I had the hardest time describing what I liked, although I had a picture of it in my mind. I did not want traditional wedding makeup, but something more dramatic with a vintage twist. And, I had 20 photos of looks I wanted to emulate...partially. Jocelyn made it happen! My hair and makeup looked so wonderful! Jocelyn made sure to take photos, which she sent to me, so that I could see the final style in photo format. This was really helpful for me, and a way to include my east coast family in the planning process. I'd recommend that any bride take photos after their trial.
  
  In preparation for my wedding, I did not work out like crazy. I did not have facials every other month. I DID have a two hour commute to work every day and I saved all of my extra cash to pay for this event. So what I had on my wedding day was a group of pimples on my chin and tired eyes. When Jocelyn swooped into the bridal sweet, she transformed me. I really felt like a goddess!! And the final product blew my trial out of the water. Who was that in the mirror because she's way hotter than I am!!
  
  I also have a few picky, beautiful, make-up conscious friends who echo my sentiments about Jocelyn's talents. So, take their advice if you don't trust that of a girl with zero makeup prowess!

  As an Aussie bride getting married in California, I did much of my research on the internet and stumbled upon Jocelyn to do my hair and makeup! She was just wonderful. I have curly, unruly hair which she managed to perfection and my makeup looked amazing. Most of our initial communications were via email and Jocelyn was so easy to communicate with. We didn't get to do a trial but Jocelyn asked me lots of questions beforehand about what I liked. Her website was great to see the amazing job she'd done on other girls! On the day, Jocelyn was on time and was so fun and friendly to work with and we had lots of laughs in the process. I felt she really listened to what I had to say and altered things accordingly. I am so thrilled that I found Jocelyn online and would highly, HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone for a wedding or even just a special occassion.
