Introduction: For my Actors: My focus is to steer my students in finding the truth in their work. Truth is where the magic happens and leads to transformative and provocative performance. My goal is to help you deepen your understanding of your craft and empower yourself along the way. I graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting. Since then I have been living, working and studying in New York City and Los Angeles. I have worked in both Regional Theatre and TV/Film. I have experience in Shakespeare, Dialects, Improv and Stage Combat. I believe that through a easily repeatable process combined with uninhibited instincts, the miraculous can emerge. For my Public Speaking Students: My approach to Public Speaking instruction is through the perspective of an Actor. Most courses are taught academically which I feel causes the student to think more, when I want you to think less and find freedom vocally. I focus on my students experiencing joy while they speak through establishing relationship, finding the positive, humor and getting the focus off yourself. We usually start with working to get you "out of your head" and into your voice by expanding vocal expression and awareness. I have trained students for presentations, interviews, podcasts, wedding speeches, Ted Talks and more! I look forward to getting to know you and how I can best help you achieve your goals.

If I could select all 5 options I would! Working with Matt has been so impactful to my acting career. When I first started working with Matt, I had already learned more from him than 5 years of school! He has made me more confident in my abilities as an actor, and has taught me so many things when it comes to the rehearsal process. Matt has been so great and easy to work with!!! He has been helping me learn the art of speaking and teaching me techniques to conquer the fear and anxiety I have when presenting along with how to build a relationship with my audience in a way I’ve never thought possible. Matt is absolutely the best coach you will ever work with. $95 per hour for Acting. $115 per hour for Public Speaking. First lesson will be a free 15 minute consultation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first priority is understanding you! I will ask a series of questions about your goals, what kind of work you enjoy and how I can best help you. I will also suggest material for you to start working on. Then we will be off and running!

I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting. I have also studied at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory Weekly Class in New York City.
