"I can take my dog ANYWHERE. It used to be
that Talullah would pull me down the street for a walk, and run the house. This is no longer the case. I have used several dog trainers over the years. No one is like Jeff. If you want to be in control of your dog, instead of the other way around. Give him a call. He has a very calm manner, my dog loves him. “

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't shop for a price first! Talk to the trainer and ask to see a demonstration of a dog they've trained. Talk to some people they've trained dogs for and ask questions about their dogs behavior now. Get some training that will really help address your needs.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have they been training dogs? Are their methods positive, yet effective? (Many are not.) Do they have references they can give you?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Since every dog and person are different I get variety. From the small house dog to the mom living on a ranch with 3 big dogs, I see it all. I love people and love helping so my job is a perfect match for me.....

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How do I stop my dog from jumping, chewing, going to the bathroom in the house, getting in the trash etc.

My answer is that you use methods of avoiding these behaviors while you teach your dog "WHAT TO DO". If you teach the dog how to please you through some solid obedience training most of the bad behaviors should go away......

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. My greatest strength is communicating with and coaching people how to be good dog owners. The car is only as good as the driver so you'll want to make learning a priority. To do so you need a patient and experienced coach who can communicate dog handling methods in many different ways.
