FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Annually I take continuing education in my field. Often this takes me far to study with traditional healers from other cultures. I blend these in ways that give you the most effectiveness. This was how I developed the "Touch of Jade Lymphatic Massage" combining Western & Chinese techniques for Lymph Drainage.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was managing a poultry processing plant. The labor is intensive and repetitive. We had many claims for workers' compensation and it needed to be reduced. After talking with the industrial clinic Physicians, the best solution seemed to be an onsite massage program. Years earlier massage relieved my back pain. I have long been interested in massage and had taken a class 23 years earlier. The company paid for my course and I became certified. Two years later our claims were down 97%. I now have my massage clinic and send Therapists to 5 corporate locations which have also acheived the 97% time lost for injury reduction.
