We hired Scott to DJ our annual Halloween Party. It’s a family party with ages 8-80 and he kept the party hopping with his playlist, managing to get teenagers out on the dance floor with their parents. Even better he was great to work with, responsive and easy to work with. He arrived early to get his system set up. We will definitely hire him again for next years party!

Although we ended up choosing another DJ, Scott was very responsive on an extremely short notice (we're just about 10 days until the big day!!). We are so glad we hired DJ Scott for our wedding! Scott handled everything from the ceremony music, dinner ambiance, MCing, and of course the dance party. Scott is very personable and easy to work with, and made sure we had the right vibes going throughout the event. He was flexible, and easily handled the onslaught of Aunties who wanted to request their favorite songs. DJ BurnHeart was on time and prepared. He played a wide range of music. DJ BurnHeart also was $100 less than our nearest thumbtack quote and was responsive to all of our questions. Would highly recommend him. Get high quality service at an affordable rate.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is $100 per hour plus a flat $150. If there is more driving I may add $50. I have a minimum of $450. So for example: 3 hours - $450 4 hours -$550 Weddings start around $850
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing is communication, and getting on the same page about what type of music is needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I book and promote dance music events, I produce music of all sorts, and work for the biggest live music company in the world.
