"I can help you work on your basic technique (breathing, tone, placement) as well as getting in tune with your own musicality (finding the phrasing you want and making the lyric sing). I've worked with many students in the studio to help them get their best performance, as well as aided students in preparing for auditions. I work with ages 10 to adult, from beginners to advanced students who just want a refresher. Please feel free to contact me for any specific questions you may have! Donna Deussen is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I teach a great method that works well for all styles of contemporary music: pop, rock, R&B, country, folk, alternative, jazz, musical theater, etc.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love helping people get the most out of their voices, getting them to see the beauty of their own sound. I love giving them the confidence that their voice will do what they want it to, when they want it!
