Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure they are certified. Ask them if they are certified by CompTIA. CompTIA certifications are globally recognized as proof of a working knowledge of personal computer technology. Many so-called tech know as much about computers as the average advance user and that is not good enough. They need to have an understanding of the fundamentals of personal computers and network technologies. Look for CompTIA A+ certifications, CompTIA Network+ certifications and Microsoft Certified Professionals only.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That not all self acclaimed "techs" are not actual certified computer technicians by CompTIA IT association - the Computing Technology Industry Association. And that it's always best to have a certified technician work on your computer but many times if the customer has the time and is willing to learn they can research the symptoms and with high probability eventually fix the problem them self. However if the their time is valuable and their data is important to them they should let some one like myself CompTIA A+ certified, CompTIA Network++ certified and a Microsoft Certified Professional fix the problem.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1. Do they have any testimonials? 2. What IT certifications do they have? 3. Can they provide remote support? 4. Do they have a web site? 5. Do they have business cards? Make sure that your technician has a logo and a uniform. You only want to deal with professionals and a technical that is proud of his service.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. For one, we guarantee our work. If we don't fix your computer, solve your PC or network issue and or provide the solution you had in mind, i.e. printer sharing then we do not charge. We love what we do. There is a great deal of satisfaction we get from your approval. Also, we are certified technicians. We are Microsoft Certified Professionals, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certified.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I know people love the Internet and their computers. When I restore my customers ability to do what they like best on their computers whether it be for business or pleasure the smile on their faces is very rewarding for me. I love what I do. I like to show my customers how they can be more productive with their computers. Not only are my clients customers they become friends for life!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do you come out to my house? My answer is "yes, but most problems can be solved remotely directly over the Internet. It's like I'm actually at your computer and it's better because I can show you with special drawing tools exactly step by step how to do something in Windows. Most problems are software and not hardware related. I can keep my fees very very low this way and fix your computer faster."
