Introduction: Chinese medicine meets functional medicine. I strive to find the root cause of any disorder by using blood testing as well as more in depth testing. Once determined what the disorder is, I use acupuncture, herbal medicine and targeted nutritional supplementation and lifestyle and/or diet modifications to to regain health. I specialize in pain management, immune disorders especially autoimmunity, and endocrine disorders especially thyroid conditions and diabetes. Many patients find their way to my clinics after exhausting all other resources when nothing has worked for them or they are on multiple medications but have not regained their health and have hit a dead end. I thrive and enjoy working with the most complicated cases and through diligent observation and research flush out the root of the health disorder and improve the patients condition.

Emmanuel was very thorough and even followed up with instructions on how to live a more balanced life. (He even gave me information on why I should incorporate probiotics into my diet & what they are...) I think he's wonderful and I highly recommend his services as an integrated practitioner.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Every patient of mine gets my full undivided attention. The initial intake is very thorough and detailed followed by a treatment based on the diagnosis. Treatment principles usually include Acupuncture plus one or more of the following: cupping therapy, moxibution therapy, astrological analysis and counseling, dietary and lifestyle counseling as well as movement recommendations such as tai chi or stillness exercises such as meditation. Each patient gets a personally tailored treatment.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions if you are not sure what you are looking for or what your provider is offering. Finding the right practitioner for your needs is very important as every practitioner is very unique and skill sets may vary greatly as do styles and personalities. When it comes to Traditional Chinese Medicine, its definitely not a one size fits all approach.
