I have hired John Moery on multiple occasions to take photos and video of new listings. He is the best! Very professional, easy to work with and produces great work. All of my clients are extremely happy with the photos of their homes and I find that we have many potential buyers interested in our listings because the pictures look so great! When you hire John you won’t need to worry about a thing, he is great with clients, punctual and down to business. We will definitely continue to use John for our listings in the future. Worth every penny!

I hired John for my 30th birthday in Hermosa Beach. He was AMAZING! We was at the party for 4 hours. We had a little above 30 people at the party but he found ways to capture the birthday so creatively and was so on top of everything that was happening, we ended up with over 400 wonderful photos! The lighting in the pictures was fantastic and he knew all the right angles to hit. I am also a corporate event planner and will now hire John for any events we do in Los Angeles!

We had John take some photos of my husband and I with our 6 month old down at the beach. His photos turned out amazing! Even though Caleb wasn't in the best mood, John was really patient with us and ended up capturing some really special moments of us together. I posted some of the final shots on Facebook to share with friends and family and have gotten so many compliments of how great the photos are. I would highly recommend John as a photographer!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

On the personal photography side, I do many family shoots and I love capturing those special moments between couples and their kids. My other primary shoots are for real estate listings. I provide high end photos to local real estate agents for use in their listings and flyers. Video and real estate website design is also available to help showcase each property to make it sell fast. I do many commercial shoots for local businesses as well for use in social media and print based marketing campaigns.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was contacted by a national tile manufacturer that was in need of a photographer to document their work that was completed at the Glendale Galleria mall. I was chosen to shoot the entire mall showcasing the tile work that had all been replaced throughout the mall. The photos were used on the cover and articles for the national magazine, Tile News, showcasing this project.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I'm somewhat of a jack of all trades. I started my career as an engineer, and photography was my artistic outlet. It is a great match for me as it combines both technical prowess but also a need for an artistic eye. I love to figure everything out so I am constantly trying new techniques to see how they can add to my portfolio of tools.
