I have had a professional relationship with Rich since 1987 or so when he produced and arranged my first album, "The Story Of A Wayward Strange", originally released in Mar. 1988. We are currently recording the finishing touches on my new album, Produced, Arranged and Recorded by Rich Wenzel at Ardent Audio Productions in Torrance, CA., titled "Songs From The Second Sessions". My advantage with Rich directing this project is the talent that he has at his disposal, within himself and from the professional musicians he has worked with throughout his career, that has given me a brilliant recording that far exceeded any of my expectations. Ardent Audio is an up to date, state of the art, Digital Recording Studio with a large rehersal area, in a great location, convenient parking, a clean and professional environment. I obviously can't say enough good things about my experiences working with Rich on my recordings. After this is completed....we'll work on the next album....and the next. My experience working with Rich has been truly inspiring, educational and competent. Mr. Wenzel's professionalism and efficiency as a recording engineer, music producer and musician are of the highest standard, his incredible technical and engineering skills helped me with my confidence level and creativity in recording my first CD and the current CD now in progress. Ardent Audio Productions provides an exceptional working environment offering priceless experience, support and expertise and above all else Rich and his staff were always gracious, pleasant and friendly. The studio is a comfortable state of the art complex always upbeat, energetic, and accommodating. I've had the pleasure of managing music artists who have utilized Ardent Audio Productions over the past seven years. At least yearly, one of the artists has recorded in the studio. I have always been impressed both with the quality of the equipment in the studio as well as the feedback that Rich provides to artists. He has an incredible 'ear' for music and is able to quickly provide feedback and constructive advice. I will certainly continue to use Ardent Audio Productions in future projects.
