A. If you're looking for a good DJ, always ask for a demo mix. If they don't have a demo mix, then try looking for someone new. If they do happen to have a demo mix, have them send it over so you can evaluate them. I always am recording new mixes and have many promo mixes available for you to listen to.
A. If you do have a promo mix sent to you by a DJ, always listen to the transitions of the songs. They don't want to be too quick or too long, and they definitely don't want to be offbeat. If you notice this in their mix, look for someone else.
A. How long have you been DJing? Do you have your own equipment? What time could you be availabe? Do you have a promo mix I can listen to?
