All training are done in-home. Our all-natural methods are effective with any dog at any age, including puppies.

We have 3 pit bulls. All 3 are loving lick monsters who were more then eager (too eager!) to greet every guest with front paws on the gutt and noses up the butt!
Though the excited attention from the dogs was not aggressive or mean, I can just imagine how intimidating it was for my guests to be welcomed into my home only to find 3 hyper, muscular pit bulls ready to run you down.
Bark Busters to the rescue!
Scott first sat my husband and I down and explained dog pack behavior. (I am one of "those freaky dog people" who spoil their pets and treat them like human children...then wonder why they don't listen to me). So, in reality, he was training US!
After teaching my husband and I on how to behave like good pack leaders, WE went to work on the dog training.
To put it simply, it took MUCH longer to train me than my dogs! He had my dogs not rushing the front door after someone knocked or rang the door bell in less than 5 minutes. He got my arm-puller-offer to stop pulling on the leash when we walked her...again, in under 5 minutes. Not only to they behave as they should with visitors, but they are more responsive when given direction on other misc issues.
Though I still spoil and love my dogs as if they were my children, I have been given the tools to keep them happy, mentally healthy and well behaved for their lifetime with me.
I highly recommend Scott Beckman!

We tried other training that required a treat after the expected result, which was not practical. We saw a remarkable difference after we understood how to be our dog’s leader. Thank you for your expertise Scott. --

A. Mostly that I'm not really training their dog, rather I'm teaching my client how to respond to their dog in a way that makes sense to them, in a dog way sort of. Once my client learns how to and how not to respond, the whole dynamic changes for the better and quickly!
