Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. That Electrical is and can be not only dangerous, but deadly. No trade secrets should be shared, because they are based in Science, and unless you change the laws of Physics, Electrical shock hazards can end your life!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Full service Electrical contractor with 28 years of electrical experience
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Freedom to travel
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Are you licensed? Answer: Yes!
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. The dangers of the Electrical trade are numerous. I received my training as an Electrician in the US Navy. One story, though a bit morbid, had to do with the death of a fellow sailor, on board the USS Kitty Hawk, CV63. An individual in the tool safety department miswired a welding machine, where the ground clamp was hooked to one of the line side feeders. When the welder was hooked up and the ground clamp was attached, and on this particular machine, at the base of a water fountain, tragedy ensued. A sailor came up to the drinking fountain, put his hand on the handle of the welder, and leaned down and turned the handle of the drinking fountain, and was killed instantly, with 480Volts through his chest! Reader beware, have all your electrical appliances and associated circuits installed and checked by a licensed Electrical professional!
