Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Resumes, lowest prices in town. Work out of my home in Valley Village. Resumes done while you wait - by appointment only. Writing & editing by a published author, magazine writer, & former full-time newspaper reporter. Screenplays typed in Final Draft for $2 per page. Work polished, as necessary. Many of my clients have been with me for over 10 years.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. A former prison guard, who had taped his experiences, found my name in the phone book and called me about a screenplay he had been working on for many years. His work consisted of pages and pages of scribbled notes. I converted this into a professional-looking screenplay in Final Draft. Inspired by this, he did numerous re-writes, with deletes and additions. I wasn't happy with the first page, and totally re-wrote it to make the opening more descriptive and exciting. He was delighted and is well on his way to selling this script. I also do secretarial work and have been handling all the correspondence, flyers, notices etc. for the California Boxing Hall of Fame for over 10 years. Resumes are my specialty, especially for actors who visit me again and again for updates. All of my work is saved in the computer so it can be worked on at future times.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Don't try to do it alone. Hire a professional. My prices are very reasonable and well worth your time and money. Work is done out of my home in a friendly environment. Don't hire a company. Hire an individual who really cares.
