Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Do your research. Make sure that you get a "good feeling" from the bankruptcy attorney. Make sure that you are "compatible" and "comfortable" with them so that the process goes smooth.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I wish that a lot of customers knew that some bankruptcy attorneys charge "$799" but that the fee doesnt include the attorney going with them to the 341a meeting of the creditors. We charge $899 and attend the hearing with the customer.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Find out how many bankruptcies the attorney has filed. Ask any questions that you dont know - for ex...how long is the process, how much does it cost, what's included with the price? etc.
