Giovanna Gattuso, Italian singer-songwriter and vocal coach, offers group or private voice and singing lessons to people of any experience level and age.

My teaching background:

Giovanna has won multiple awards, including "Best Latin Female Singer-Songwriter" and "Best World Music Album" at the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards for her album Jungle e Maree.

Giovanna's extensive experience in Europe and the US has made her a vocalist and musician with remarkably elegant style and taste. Her experience allows her to freely experiment with music — from opera and lyrical European music to the most emotional and complex jazz compositions — without being stilted.

Giovanna possesses a diploma from the academy of the arts in Italy, and she has perfected her singing skills and mastery of jazz and gospel styles at the University of California, San Diego, advancing her vocal technique through the guidance of maestri Aida Claretto Prestia, Bel Canto, and Seth Riggs. She collaborates with top jazz musicians (Italian and American) for concerts and recordings. Her use of different styles and unique capacity to match her voice to various formats lets her collaborate with musicians on projects of multiple genres, from classical to classical crossover to jazz.

She is also the developer of the 'crossover singing method', a voice method discussed in published books in both English and Italian.
