Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Twenty hours of federal, state, and ethical continuing education is required by CTEC, the board overseeing California Registered Tax Preparers.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Between Congress and the economy, it will be very interesting to see what happens with the tax code in the next few years.
