My wedding was on June 30, 2012. Steve was not only my "DJ", he was the "Master of Ceremonies!"...He kept my guests entertained while we were taking pics. He made it VERY clear when it was time for a "photo-op" (Cake-cutting, bouquet toss..etc) He was super friendly and outgoing! He made sure I was AWARE it was time for the "first dance" "cake cutting" bouquet/garter toss"...etc.....(cuz...trust me...I was so IN THE MOMENT..I needed someone to "prompt" me) He also takes "your" love story (how you met, fell in love..etc..) and puts a little funny spin on it...and reads it outloud to you and your guests..(very cute...everyone got a kick out of it)... I would recommend DJ Steve to anyone looking for a professional, fun "Master of Ceremonies!"

We hired Steve for our son's wedding. He did the music for both the ceremony and the reception. He is very professional while at the same time funny, very upbeat, enthusiastic and even kind. He took great care in helping us plan. When we could not decide on music his suggestions were perfect. His attention to detail was amazing, he reminded guests to turn off cell phones, to be patient while photos were taken, he helped guide guests to their seats, he even noticed when the aisle runner was being stepped on and politely asked guests to be careful and fixed the wrinkles. He set up and itinerary for us which I had even given to the photographer who had worked with Steve before and was very excited to work with him again, he had told us that we would be very happy with choosing him. When the hotel managers had learned that Steve was our DJ even they were excited and had great things to say about him since they too had worked with him before. When he had come to the hotel to set up he came prepared with everything right down to the last extension cord. The lighting that he created for the reception went WAY beyond our expectations it was simply perfect. Steve called the night before to make sure we were happy with the lighting and that all the music was correct, he even checked with us before the ceremony and during the reception several times to make sure that everything he was doing was satisfactory or if we had any questions and made suggestions when we were not sure, which were perfect. He was like a guide on a fantastic journey. Steve did a scavenger hunt during the reception which was so much fun. He wrote a fantastic love story after interviewing the kids which he read for the guests and even played their vows during their first dance. Later guests told me it was the most awesome thing they had seen done at a wedding reception. He kept the guests entertained and excited during every step of the way. He made announcements to the guests before each event so they never missed a thing. Several guests had told us how impressed they were with Steve and that they had never seen such and awesome DJ before. A couple of our guests have been all over the country at functions were there are DJs and he even impressed them. He was very friendly and spoke with many of the guests and at the same time never missed a cue for the music he was on top of everything there was never a dull or quite moment. He got guests on the dance floor and kept them there. He made guests laugh and got them excited about being there even Steve seemed to be having fun. He had them cheering for our son and his new bride. He went way above and beyond what we had expected we could not have made a more perfect choice for our DJ. I just know that the wedding and reception would not have been the perfectly flawless success that it was without Steve.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before hiring a cheap DJ, talk to event/wedding coordinators who will tell you all their horror stories! Hire a professional. You don't have to spend a lot more to get a professional like myself.
