Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. It is important to know who you are hiring. If you are hiring a private party (individual business owner) run a background check on them. The cost is only $10-25 and worth the money. At Dogs On The Run, I do all the reference checking, background checks, and make sure that all our pet care professionals have at least a 2 million dollar insurance policy. Go through a larger organization that knows what they are doing.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Dogs On The Run stand out above the rest because we have been in business since 1997. We have many awards for our efforts in animal welfare and our local communities. Dogs On The Run was even a Runner Up for Business of the Year through the National Association of Professional Petsitters.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Everything! The pets are amazing to work with, but also being able to help people with their needs is wonderful.

A. Do you have pets? The answer is YES!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Being a Pet Care Professional is a hard job. People often think it's easy, but really its a lot of responsibilty. Our sucess depends on being reliable, honest, available and hardworking. What I would like people to know is that we do our best to try not to make mistakes, but sometimes things are out of our control.
