Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Black power-coated springs are much better than galvanized springs. Many customers believe that galvanized are better but that is only a sales pitch. Galvanized springs require higher maintenance, and they rust faster. We only replace are customers springs with black power-coated springs because they last longer, and they are better quality.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We promise to do an excellent job and not leave the job sight until you are completely satisfied. We offer full warranty on all of the parts we replaced plus a 1 year warranty on the labor we perform. We trave to all of the cities in the bay area and the East bay at no extra charge.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like mostly the look on peoples faces after I replace their old garage door for a new one. It improves the look of their property, it adds value to their home, and most times qualifies them for a $1,500 tax credit. The cusomer is also always happy about the price. They know they are getting good quality products at a low, competitive price.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Q: How are you going to make my Garage door run smoother and quieter?
A: I am going to replace your metal rollers with nylon rollers with ball bearings. These run alot smoother, they last longer, and they require less maintenance. I am also going to lubricate your garage door track, the springs holding your garage door, all hinges, and the opener rail. This will cause your garage door to run its course alot smoother and easier.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I met a good friend while installing a new garage door. I installed an insullated garage door and the customer and I just clicked. We had a good conversation and from that day foreward we continued to keep in touch. If he needed a simple repair I would help him out and he would refer his friends and family to my company. Who knew that I would make a life-long friend doing my job?
