- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin the process by having a phone meeting with the client, to access their needs, their budget, their goals and intentions and to see if I am a fit. Once we come to the agreement to explore our working relationship more I will create a custom quote. Once it is accepted, we are ready to begin our collaboration.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing website design, graphic design, branding, photography and marketing for 18 years. Much of my education comes from hands on experience, professional trainings, and working with other professionals. I have a BFA from Western Illinois University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began doing this work for a client I had in 1997. She wanted a website and insisted that since I knew her brand I was the person she would intrust. Thus I began to hurdle the huge learning curve that is the web. I had already been doing design and illustration in Photoshop. From here I learned Dreamweaver, html, Flash, CSS and a myriad of other web and creative programs. My first web client is still a client 18 years later. I am in this for the long haul.
