Vanessa was a huge help planning our backyard wedding. The attention to detail that is needed to coordinate a wedding is mindboggling and Vanessa was on top on every last one. Even the stuff that will never cross your mind, which is why she is worth every penny. On the big day I almost never even new she was there, in other words she discreetly made sure everything went smoothly and I didn’t need to worry about anything, but was free to enjoy the best day and night of my life. My guests however commented on how she worked her ass off and how impressed they were with her. It also helps that she is friendly, fun and cool to hang out with. It was sort of like planning a wedding with a new supercoordinated friend. I recommend her to anybody who needs help planning any sort of event. With Vanessa you will be in very good, capable and proffesional hands.

I got married 10-10-15. Our coordinator Kalene Castillo was amazing. She was very professional and attentive to our needs. Although we had a few hiccups from some of the vendors she stayed on schedule and made everything run smoothly. Couldn't ask for a better coordinator. Nessa events has a great team and I'm happy they were part of my special day. I would highly recommend any new engaged couples to higher Nessa Events to help plan/ coordinate their wedding.

Vanessa is nothing short of fantastic! Love her. She is professional, adorable, quick to respond, and made our lives so much easier in planning and executing the wedding of our daughter in May. The very formal event was flawless and Nessa was on every point of detail to make sure it all was perfect. I would hire her again for any event that i need a coordinator for. She created a detailed timeline for the day of the wedding and made sure it was executed. She showed up during the photo session while my daughter was getting dressed for the wedding and ran around the California Club handling the organizing of the bridal party for the various photos. She took the pew flowers from the church and rushed them to the California Club to hang them on the grand staircase entryway. She made sure the cocktail period ran smoothly while photos were being taken. Vanessa oversaw the receiving line so that it moved rapidly and smoothly. Nessa made sure the band did exactly what they were supposed to and kept to the time line. She oversaw the various parts of the dinner program like the cake cutting, tossing the bouquet and garter, etc. i don't know what we would have done without her. She allowed me to be able to enjoy our daughter's very formal wedding day with no worries Do not think TWICE about hiring Vanessa Vargas to coordinate your wedding or any event. You will NOT be sorry. She is perfect. Get her on your team and you will be much happier and relaxed. One of the most important things for me in hiring a consultant for this wedding was that she would treat the fantastic staff of the California Club with great respect. They loved Nessa and thought she was incredibly wonderful. I give her five stars in all areas. She could not have been more terrific.

Vanessa was fantastic--super sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything on our big day. We had a mostly DIY wedding with a lot of stuff to be set up by friends on site and she coordinated it all, including the stuff we really didn't plan for very well, like everyone being too drunk to pack everything up at the end!! Highly recommend her!

Vanessa and her team were amazing! They not only oversaw all of my vendors but they also did all of the set up and prep for my wedding. Their team was there early the day of the wedding and stayed late to make sure they collected all of my belongings. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and I give all the credit to Nessa Events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on what the client needs. Prices start at $950 and up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start Working with my client in immediately once I’m hired. Regardless if it is full of planning our day of coordinating I help out right away oppose to other planners who typically start a month before the wedding. My job as a planner is to make your life easier. I ask a ton of questions and eventually give a bride or client “homework” for ex. Sending me a list of names of their bridal party, a list of all items that need to be set up, all vendor contact info etc. The idea is to go over every detail so on the day of the event there is nothing to question. I visit the venue when it is convenient for the client and confirm all details before hand. I’ll do everything anything to make sure the client is at ease!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree In communications and over 20 years in the field. I personally have experice in all fields that make an event complete. (Catering, production, planning, serving, bartending, entetainment) I know better than anyone what needs to be done because I’ve personally done it.
