- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Would you choose to trust a stranger with your deepest secrets? What if you knew the stranger was bound by ethical standards to tell no one, except with your written permission and , what you told them. That the laws they were bound to uphold mandates them to report certain occurrences they hear about while practicing as a mental health professional.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What I would like a potential client to know about my profession and about me is simple -- I LOVE my profession. Becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist was my calling after spending a number of years being a clerk-typist, a private secretary, and a manager trainee for a national finance company. I went into this field with one goal -- to help those individuals, couples, and families find answers to what is troubling them. I know it can be scary to admit you can't do it all by yourself. Just know I am here to assist you as you move forward in your life. I can and will teach you the skills you need!
