Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Make sure the daycare you choose is what you are looking for before enrolling.Visit the daycare while children are in care and ask for references.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I have been on both sides of the trade. I just try to run my daycare the way I would've liked for my kids when they were in daycare. Providing the parents with daily reports and pictures throughout the day has proven to be a plus in my daycare. I wish someone would've done that for me :)
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. On the business side, you should make sure you completely understand the providers hours of operation, closures, and rates. For your child's sake ask questions that show this is what you and your kiddo want and need. How many kids and what ages will be attending while your child is there? Are meals included? Is there a schedule? routine? educational activities? What sort of discipline if any is used? What activities are common on a daily basis?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. They should think about what type of setting they are looking for in a daycare. Do they want a relaxing homey environment, or a more structured school like atmosphere. They should think about whether they want their kids in a large or small daycare group. What would like to know their child is doing or learning while they are away from them.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I think I communicate more with the parents than many other providers. They are welcome to text me anytime to check on their kids. I often send pictures of their kids to them. I offer daily reports for children that are too young to let Mom and Dad know about their day.As a parent, I know it is very difficult to positively know that your kid is being loved, educated, and cared for. I do everything I can to show that is what I am doing.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love when parents tell me that their child was asking about me over the weekend...or that they missed me. It's a wonderful feeling when the kids arrive in the morning happy and excited about the days upcoming events. Sometimes they aren't ready to go home when parents pick them up...it's a good feeling. Watching them learn so fast and pick up on new things daily is also great :) They are always well educated and ready to start school after coming here.

Great DayCare to bring your children to. My two boys enjoyed every day there. The daycare is a great place for caring, naturing, and interacting with your children. The children always have an activity and are never stuck infront of a TV all day. When the sun is out the children are too. However, my two boys got older and it was time for school.

I am a grandmother of two children that are lucky enough to experience Jonette's daycare. I love how Jonette texts pictures during the day to mom (that get forwarded to me!) Always smiles and fun. Our granddaughter is quick to tell us that what Jonette says goes. They are so happy and well adjusted there. It seems she has a schedule that the kids know and understand. AND the learning that is done. Our little 4 year old has wonderful penmanship already. We are a little far away but someday would really love to drop in and visit. There is Grandparents day, Mother and Fathers Day and I believe there should be a Jonette Day!

Jonette is truly the greatest daycare leader in the world! My babies are happy, well fed, entertained, and taught to the highest standards. I never have to worry about the quality of care my children receive at Jonette's; and best of all I feel as though I've met a life-long friend. I only wish she could be their school teachers too!

My son loved Jonette. He started going to her daycare when he was 5 months old and I always felt good leaving him in her care. She writes daily notes about what he ate and the activities they did during the day. This is so nice, since my son couldn't verbalize to me yet. She has very reasonable rates and lots of fun activites for the kids to do. She teaches the kids to use their fine motor skills and how to write their name. The kids dance to songs that also teach them skills like counting and the alphabet. Television is not used as a babysitter at Jonette's. The TV is rarely on at all. All in all, I love Jonette and you and your kids will too.

As a mother of an autistic son I am very picky on who I chose to care for my son. My son is now 4 years old but when he was first diagnoised at 15months I decieded he needed to go to Daycare to learn social interaction with other children (which is difficult for autistic kids) When I Met Jonnette she had such a calm and understanding way about her and my son felt comfortable the moment he walked in her house (which he usualy dosent anywhere else) I explained his needs to her and how he needs to be constantly watched cause he is in his own world most of the time and doesnt understand danger and she had no problem with that. My son loved her and really started opening up. She even posted pics of him having fun and laughing with the other kids playing around him. She is a great person and care provider and took xtra special care of my son. I was sad when we had to stop attending her daycare and my son who is nonverbal would go to the door every morning after wanting to go. I am sad she left Merced but I know She is just as great In Winton with all her kids as she was in Merced. She is #1 in my book. If my son Mason could talk he would THANKS JONETTE YOUR THE BEST :). The pic next to my testimonial is of My son Mason way back when he was at Jonette's Daycare in Merced (LOOK HOW HAPPY HE WAS AT HER DAYCARE) The proof is in his smile. Thanks for all you did Jonette your the best!!!!
