I wanted to get a cake for my very dear friend Ashleigh for a recent achievement in her life I thought we should celebrate. It was a bit short notice, but was very fortunate to have been referred to JamieCakes, where I can honestly say my expectations were blown away! I received wonderful, professional, and extremely personal service, that was way beyond anything I had hoped for. Since I am a bit of a novice when it comes to baked treats, Jamie helped me with ideas and suggestions, and together we decided on a beautiful personal design for a cake that I could never have come up with on my own. The cake was ready the very next day, and I was astonished by the look and the quality that JamieCakes delivered. I could go on and on about the service, but my true satisfaction was on how great the cake tasted! Easily the best cake I have ever had!
I now find myself looking for excuses to order more cakes from JamieCakes. I couldn't give a higher recommendation!

Jaime was a pleasure to work with. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first because not a month before I had worked with a bakery that ruined my grandmother's 75th birthday cake. When I met Jaime she was very professional and not only had references on hand, but also was very open to my ideas. I was throwing a surprise commissioning party for my husband who is in the Air Force and I wanted a special cake. She kept me updated the entire time and hand delivered my custom cake (an Air Force Officer cover) as well as some amazing cupcakes. Everyone loved the cake- they didn't even realize it was a cake because it looked so real! Not only did it look good, but it tasted even better. And my cupcakes were perfect for adults: Jack Daniel's and Irish Whiskey. Yum. It was a pleasure working with her and I would highly recommend her for any event you might have. No suggestions for an improved experience. Everything was perfect.

I am a huge cake fiend so the search for the perfect baker to make my graduation cake was quite extensive and on par with what some people do for their weddings. After meeting with several notable bakeries throughout the valley, I selected Jaimecakes as I found her to be the most personable, professional and reasonable in all other aspects. She brought great ideas to what I already envisioned and she had a real "can do" attitude when other bakeries told me something wasn't possible or just couldn't do what I wanted. Jaime went above and beyond to make sure I had the cake I wanted. She even agreed to dye my favorite red velvet cake pink to match the color of the cake decor. After meeting with her to go over ideas, pricing, etc. I got to try some of her cake flavors and they were delicious. I ended up ordering a single tier, three layer red (pink) velvet cake with Bavarian cream along with chocolate and vanilla mini cupcakes for my graduation party. She delivered them to my home and they came out better than I'd envisioned. They were so cute and tasted amazing! All of my guests at my party were raving about the look and taste of the cake and cupcakes and were asking for Jaime's info. The red velvet cake was moist and flavorful. The chocolate frosting and cupcakes were to die for! Even her fondant which I'm not normally a fan of, tastes good because she layered it with cream cheese frosting. As I mentioned, I'm a major cake enthusiast and I know good cake when I see it (and taste it!) You will not be disappointed in using Jaime for all your cake needs and I know I can't wait until the next event when I can use her.

Jaime was simply amazing. Our wedding was EXACTLY what we wanted. It was beautiful and delicious! We found her through her Yelp reviews and were not disappointed at all. From the first email to dropping off our rental cake stand, working with Jaime was such a joy. She is easy-going as well as highly professional. She responded promptly and pleasantly to all of my initial questions and worked with us for the tasting schedule.
When we first met for the tasting, it was like meeting up with friend rather than a vendor. Other bakeries seem to think their tasting responsibilities stop at providing the samples, but Jaime went above and beyond. While we were busy stuffing our faces with yummy cake, she took notes and asked questions that ultimately helped with our final decision. Oh my goodness that was so helpful because otherwise we would have been completely lost with all of the goodness we sampled. Oh and the variety of cake and filling flavors is amazing! So many other bakeries only offer the usual chocolate or white cake with similar filling. We ended up with lemon cake with raspberry mousse for two layers and Irish whiskey and chocolate for the top layer. It sounds weird but is delicious!
The design process was so easy. I already had a clear idea of what I wanted, and Jaime understood my vision immediately. She was excited about my ideas and provided valuable input and knowledge to get us to the final product.
Our venue was far south of Jaime's area, but she never even hinted at any bother about it. She remained cheerful about it even after we changed our date and time to a Sunday morning! Having to change a wedding date is stressful enough, but having a vendor like Jaime made it much less painful.
We cannot wait to have her make us a cake again - she was THAT good. We totally recommend Jaime to anyone who needs a special cake for their event.

Jaime is a nice person, however her business has gone to her head. I ordered a custom cake from her for a birthday. I ordered a small cake that was worth maybe one fourth the price she really charged me. She plays favorites. She does not treat all customers consistently or alike. She demanded that I must pay a minimum 150.00 dollars for a cake, no matter how small. She claimed that that was her minimum price to do a cake. Okay, I went along, because I really needed a cake and other businesses requested more notice. So I was in a bind. I paid her up front, as she also demanded. I had several specified exactly what I wanted. Nothing complex. Rather simple design. However, when I got the cake, I could see that it had been carelessly decorated, as if I was just a run-of-the-mill nobody and that she had rather I ordered a bigger cake to make it worth her while. Sad part is that I had paid this I ungreatful woman, Jaime, for a BIGGER cake!
Then, a week later, I read another review in which she had made a cake for someone else for only 65.00 dollars! Seriously?!
Jaimecakes are not that great. Read all the Yelp reviews with caution. Most of those Yelp reviews are fake, just like ALL the "glowing" reviews here are fKe ones posted by her friends and family.

We honestly have no idea who this person is. We have never had a customer named Kath D. We know this is a fake review by someone determined to hurt our business reputation. Please read all our other reviews as you will see there is something clearly wrong with this person's allegations and intentions.
