My son has been taking piano lessons with Adrian for about 7 years, since he was 5 years old. She always tries to pick pieces that my son likes, thus making the lessons more enjoyable. I'm also extremely grateful for all the good advices she's given me on parenting over the years.

When I am having difficulty with a particular section of a piano piece, Adrian has the ability to immediately focus on the exact cause of the problem, whether it is my emphasis on notes not part of the melody, the wrong rhythm, or something as seemingly simple as incorrect hand positioning. But beyond her considerable teaching skills, Adrian never loses focus on the "big picture," the pleasure and feeling of accomplishment the student derives in progressing though a challenging piece. As Adrian puts it, it's not the destination that's important, it's the journey. Great teacher!

Adrian is a great teacher- skilled, patient & very flexible with scheduling. Her emphasis on learning the fundamentals is appreciated. My 11 year old son has taken weekly lessons with her for approximately 3 years.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My basic charges are $75.00 per hour or $40.00 for 30 munutes. This is at my home. If I come to you I may have to charge travelling fees.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of MTAC ( Music teachers of Ca,) I go to concerts all the time and continue to make my CDs of music I have played
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love teaching anything and since I was playing the piano I wanted to work in what I loved and was good in.
