- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, they include Behavioral Adjustment Training through Grisha Stewart, Nicole Wilde seminars and Feisty Fido training. I stay up-to-date on new dog training techniques being used in my field through Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients have a specific behavioral issue that they want to work on. Examples are separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and dog-on-dog aggression that are the most common.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with a dog trainer that is well educated in modern dog training techniques such as positive reinforcement force free training. Also, make sure the dog trainer is able to communicate effectively with you so as to explain the correct tools and techniques that will work to train your dog.
